口语变题季 雅思口语新题：长时间陪伴的家人高分素材！

　　雅思口语在1月份就开始变题啦，本期我们分享口语高分素材：The person I’m going to talk about is my mum, who’s an English teacher teaching in Qingdao University. You know, Qingdao University is considered quite a good one in our city and I’m proud of my mum’s job as a teacher there.

　　What I usually do together with her, well, I have to say I learn English from her on a very regular basis. Although my mum mainly teaches American Literature on campus, she’s well-knowledgeable in English reading and speaking as well. You know, my English speaking performance is not up to par, so I spend any time possible practicing oral English with her. I’ve really obtained a lot and the greatest method I’ve learned from her is that I can try to paraphrase when I come across difficulties in my expression. For example, if I forget how to say the word garage, I just need to say “a place where people park there cars”. It really works out for me!

　　Anyway, my mum is really a patient person. I mean, her temper’s so nice that I’ve never seen her get angry or irritated at all! Um, when I learn spoken English with her, it’s super common for me to make stupid errors like I ignore past tense and I misuse the third person singular, but my mum’s never told me off! She just corrects me and shows me right sample answers! I really appreciate her being nice on me and I owe all my English progress to her. She’s really a great, patient teacher!

　　I spend most time with her because I’m her son of course and I’m not an adult as you can see, and hands down, staying with her is a bliss and it’s not only for the English improvements but also for her love and care for me.
