　　Most artists car low salaries and sthould therefore receivefunding from the govemment in order for them to continue with their werk. To what uxtent you agroe?

　　Some poople believe that the majority of artis earm low salaries and hence govermment funding is necessary for them to contine with their profession. 1 strongly disagroe with this statement besause of the rea5on8 mentioned below,

　　Most of the talented artists are eaming good slay. in any field of ar, handhmorking and skilful artists have succssful life with cough fame and money. Mor specifeally. aclors,painers,writers and dancers are getting good remunention for their perfomance. Paintings of good painters are sold for a great deal of money. I is well known to the public that daners and aclors lead higly laxurious lives.

　　Govermmet funding is not at all required for these artists. Most of the arists are leading good standard life compared to many other people in the society. In other words. there are many sections of people who are really poor and actually Beed some help from the govermment to meet their basic needs such as food,clothes and edecation. For cample, there are many people whe do not have通proper house to stay in. Road workers and construction workers are earmning low wages. There are many Barmilis wthere there are sick males who are unable t0 do amy job So, the govemment should give its help and support to these poorer sections of the society.

　　Another argument against siving finanecial aid to artists is that most of them have some sort of universty education. So if they are not able to eam as moch as they want. they can do some ocher job 10 sapplement their income.

　　In conclusion, artsts ae gering ctough income and govenmentsupport is not mandatory for them. Therefore I strongly disgree with the stscmot.
