　　话题分析

　　这是一道物品+经历类话题，说的是一次你见过的有趣的动物。

　　题卡是“描述一次你见过的有趣的动物”。我们可以从三个地方来选择：1. 某人家里。比如你朋友家的宠物。2. 动物园里你看到过的某种动物。3. 在野外。比如去了非洲或澳洲看到了野生动物，或在纪录片里。

　　题目分解，第一个问题“what the animal was”。大家除了说出该动物的名称外，也可以对其外貌进行简单的描述。

　　然后“when and where you saw it”。在“when”的描述上，我们可以说一个大的时间(年月)+小的时间(日期)。在“where”的描述上，我们可以对其方位和距离进行拓展。

　　接下来“why it was interesting”。大家可以说一个主观的原因：该动物和你的互动;客观的原因：说一些这个动物不寻常的地方。

　　最后解释“how you felt about the wholeexperience”。大家可以从积极和消极两个方面入手。

　　I’d like to describe an interesting animal I once saw, which was a stray cat. I remember it was a small black cat with a long tail. Actually, there are many stray cats in our community, and their number is growing because some of the residents like to feed them.

　　It happened a few days ago, when I came back home from work. After I got out of the elevator, I saw this small creature standing outside my door. It just looked at me as if to say, “Hey, I’m a little hungry. Can you give me some food to eat?” I opened the door and let the cat in. Unfortunately, there wasn’t any food that I could feed it with, so I just poured this poor thing some milk. It drank it and then left.

　　What was interesting about this cat was that it didn’t run when it saw me coming out of the elevator. I guess it was really hungry and desperately in need of some food. I somehow felt a connection between us, like I’ve had it as a pet for along time. I adored this little cat the moment I saw it, and I guess it liked me, too.

　　My encounter with this little cat felt pretty pleasant. I felt that I had done something good. I mean nowadays, we are so busy with our life, and a lot of us don’t take notice of stray animals that live around us. I think we should appreciate their presence and do something to make their life better. So I’m really looking forward to my next meeting with the cat.
