　　I’d like to tell you about a meal that I had with my friend when she aimed to announce a piece of good news to me.

　　It was two months ago when my city was just unlocked and restaurants got reopened from the pandemic. My friend Julian called me and arranged this meal. She said she got a great news to share so she couldn’t wait to see me.

　　So we met in a Chinese hotpot restaurant. There weren’t many people since most people were still very cautious about social interactions in public places.

　　I remember she ordered a set for two and the food was really good. I couldn’t criticize anything but only to enjoy. During the meal, she announced this good news that she was going to get married soon! I felt so happy for her after all it was very lucky to find the Mr.Right! She told me a lot about her plans on the wedding and she even invited me to be her bridesmaid.

　　We had a good long chat that we totally forgot the time! In the end we finished everything on the table and we were the last one to leave. But it was just fun to talk to her! I felt so connected and bonded with her.

　　So yeah this was the meal that I recently had with my friend. I think when you eat with a friend, it’s normally not about the food, but rather about you-getting-together. So I’m very glad that my friend shared the latest news with me and she first thought of me when she got this big news to announce.
