　　仝卓大型直播“翻车现场”，站在“瓜上”学雅思！ 近些年，随着直播的兴起，恐怕最不缺的就是“翻车现场”了。前有翟博士不知知网为何物，后又有仝卓自爆高考关系户。我等吃瓜群众已经开始目不暇接了。

　　今天和大家一起分享一下“中国日报双语新闻”对这次仝卓事件的报告，在吃瓜围观的同时，咱们学点单词，正正我们的价值观。

　　实话实说，就我个人而言对娱乐圈的新闻真的是几乎零关注，对于这些流量小生也几乎不认识，但是这个仝卓我还真知道，不久前在《中餐厅》中露过脸。

　　当时这个节目算是我们家必看的节目，主要是为了教育我闺女“学英语的重要性”。遇到了这个“仝”字，我闺女不认得，我自然要说教一番。这还得感谢《水浒传》中和插翅虎雷横关系不错的美髯公朱仝。也正因如此，这次新闻爆出来，我便特别的关注了一下。

　　The scandal broke when the singer and actor Tong Zhou was chatting with fans on a livestreaming platform late last month. “We used a lot ofso-called guanxi (connections) and then I became a fresh high school graduate,” said Tong, 26, laughing with one hand over his mouth.

　　His cheating at the gaokao soon caused an outcry from netizens demanding an investigation, despite his apology and asking the academy towithdraw his diploma.

　　01如下几个词汇在口语中可能会用到

　　1、Livestreaming platform直播平台。

　　2、So-called 一个形容词，通常译为“所谓的，号称的”。

　　3、Guanxi这个非常中文的词汇，大家在口语或者书面表达的时候一定要慎重，因为其实绝大部分外国人并不了解此词，所以后面一定要解释清楚，这就是为什么文中给出了connections一词。

　　Connection一词本意是“关系”，但是这个词通常只是指事物或者人之间的关系。而connections（其复数）形式，在特别语境下可以译成“关系学”。那自然就是我们中文里常常提及，却又十分神秘的“关系”了。

　　4、Fresh这个形容词，通常是说“新鲜的”，但是后面修饰人的时候可以指“无经验的”。所以freshman指的是新人新手。Fresh graduate 自然就是“新的，没经验的毕业生”，也就是我们中文常说的“应届毕业生”。

　　5、后文中的netizen，就是我们常说的网民，一群神秘人，时而正义感爆棚，时而道德集体崩塌，而这次他们毫无疑问地选择了前者，用爆棚的正义感发起了outcry。

　　6、Outcry, 名词，强烈抗议。其实这个词很好理解，因为它对应的动词词组是cry out，大声疾呼的意思。的确cry out也可以在特定语境下被译成“哭出来”。但是通常而言它的意思是大声疾呼，往往是指人们遭遇了不公平的待遇，承受了痛苦与恐惧等。

　　Tong said in his apology that he felt guilty. “Public criticism has made me realize my mistake,” he said. “The gao kao is a very serious exam and no one should speak or act unlawfully to jeopardize its fairness and justice.”

　　02这段话简单，只有两个词值得关注

　　1、Jeopardize /ˈdʒepədaɪz/ 请大家注意它的读音。这是个及物动词，译成“损害，危及”。原文的意思就是损坏了高考的公平和公证。

　　2、Unlawfully 一看就是副词，对应的形容词unlawful。两者的意思分别为，不合法地，不合法的。自然unlawful activity就是非法活动的意思了。这个在写作中犯罪类话题里面时常用到。

　　03快来学个词组

　　1、be eligible for 有资格，符合某条件。整个词组可以被认为是一个动词性词组，类似于be interested in。

　　原文的意思为：如此一来，他就符合报考这个只接受应届毕业生的艺术学校了。

　　04这一段速读一下即可，这几个词对雅思有用。

　　1、Watchdog，千真万确这个词是看门狗的意思。但是也的确是“监察部门”的意思，通常指政府的一些“监察，监管”部门。在写作中时常用到。例如，题目问如何提升垃圾的回收率。那么解决方案中让政府的监察部门发挥作用，自然可以督促大家回收垃圾。

　　2、Custody，名词，通常指“拘留”。在写作犯罪类话题中算是常见。例如，题目问如何惩罚未成年罪犯。那么youth custody就是其中一个办法。记住，这个拘留是关在拘留所等地，绝对不是prison, jail这些正式的监狱。

　　3、Forge 动词，通常来说两个词义。我们只聊一个，因为两个一起聊比较容易混乱。通常译成伪造。Forge documents，伪造文件。Forged documents伪造的文件。
