　　对于论据( evidence)来说，关键要合理，并且能够证明论点。

　　比如题目是：Wild animals have no place in the2 Ist century and trying to protect theseanimals is a waste of resources. Do you agree or disagree?

　　有学生这样写道

　　例1

　　We can hardly imagine what our life will be like without wild animals. For example, if there is no cat, there will be more mice. The increase in the number ofmice will result in the reduction of food resources and the spread of diseases. Thus,it is very important to protect animals

　　【解析】：

　　这里，猫的论据是不合适的，因为猫不属于 wild animals(野生动物)

　　【译】：

　　我们几乎无法想象没有野生动物我们的生活会变成什么样。例如，如果没有猫，就会有更多的老鼠。老鼠数量的增多会导致食品资源短缺也会传播疾病。因此，保护野生动物是很重要的。
