　　Are you good at telling jokes?

　　Well, I don't have such kind of humor. Actually, I tried it from time to time when I hang out with my friends, but it seems they don’t feel so funny about my lame jokes. I guess, telling jokes is all about the timing and the way of delivery, which is not easy to get right. So, I’m still learning that.

　　我可没有这种幽默感。实际上我和朋友们在一起的时候也试过，但是他们似乎对我那些蹩脚的笑话并不感冒。讲笑话都是讲究时机和表达方式的，这并不容易做到，所以我还在学习。

　　Do your friends like to tell jokes?

　　Yes, they’re into it. They often tell me some hilarious things when we have a dinner together every time. They would always share me some funny videos or pictures in Wechat group, which makes the chat interesting. And I have to say that jokes add a lot of spice to my life and cheer me up when I’m not in a good mood.

　　是的，他们很喜欢。每次我们一起吃饭的时候，他们经常讲一些有趣的事情。他们总是在我们的聊天群里给我分享一些有趣的视频或图片，使得聊天变得有趣。我不得不说，这给我的生活增添了很多乐趣，在我心情不好的时候让我振作起来。

　　Do you like to watch comedies?

　　Oh definitely. My preference is for comedy that is a clever play on words, like American sitcom “The Big Bang Theory”, which always makes me fall to the ground with laughter. Also, watching a light-hearted comedy can really reduce my stress from my study and loosen me up.

　　当然，我更喜欢台词巧妙的喜剧，比如美国情景喜剧《生活大爆炸》，总能让我笑得倒在地上。另外看一场轻松的喜剧真的可以减轻我的学习压力，让我放松。

　　Have you ever watched a live show?

　　Yes, I have. One of my friends invited me to watch a live show when I paid him a visit in Shanghai last year. It was actually a cross talk performed by Guo Degang, a versatile comedian in China. It was super impressive as it was full of punchlines and funny anecdotes, so I was like over the moon about it.

　　我有过，去年我去上海拜访一位朋友时，他邀请我去看了一场现场表演。它是由多才多艺的相声演员郭德纲表演的相声。它给我留下了超级深刻的印象，满是包袱和趣闻，我简直笑炸了。
