　　How the person helps others

　　回答这道题的时候，我们的答题思维相对较窄，能想到的也仅限于帮人解答作业等。那么我们应该如何寻找“帮助”的点以及如何对观点进行拓展?

　　首先我们先来看这道题的关键词：Help。

　　这个单词虽然很简单也很容易被大家忽略，但它为我们提供了细节拓展方向。在第三章“What类型问题”的讲解中，我就有提到过“动词”的拆解方向—5W2H (When/ Where/ Why/ Who/ What/ How often/ How much)。

　　那么“Help”作为一个动词，它应该也具备了相同的拓展点。为此，当你指出一个帮助点之后，接下去你的内容拓展就可以考虑5W2H中的内容了。

　　比如：She likes to help old people.

　　这是我们的一个观点句用来直接点题，接着我们就需要思考5W2H中的内容来丰满细节，比如：什么时候帮这些老人/ 在哪里帮/ 为什么要帮助他们/ 跟谁一起帮/ 具体怎么帮/ 怎样一个帮助频率/ 帮的过程中是否需要花费一定的钱。

　　现在我们就可以在原有基础之上进行拓展：

　　She likes to help old people. Every Saturday, she goes to a local nursing home to keep the residents company. Normally, she sets off from her home after lunch and then spends the whole afternoon there talking to them and teaching them how to use technology. Sometimes, she goes there earlier as they love it when she turns up.

　　明确了细节拓展方向之后，现在我们需要来思考一下究竟可以“帮什么”?以下有4种基本的思考路线：

　　• 近身边/远身边

　　第一条思考路线—近身边/远身边。我们可以把一个人对别人的帮助拆分成他为周围熟知的人做的事情以及他为不熟悉的人所做的事情。

　　拿邻居来举例，如果他喜欢帮助别人，首先我们可以想到的就是他平日里是如何在帮助邻里的，比如帮忙照看孩子、免费辅导学生功课等;接着我们可以考虑他是否还会帮助陌生人，比如资助贫困儿童、找寻拐卖儿童、帮助流浪汉等。

　　Example ：

　　She likes to help people, especially busy parents. She knows it is a headache for parents who work full-time. She had the idea to open a study center in her home, so all the parents in the neighborhood could send their children there after school. She prepares dinner and also checks their homework and it hardly costs a thing.

　　It is very popular and it is packed out everyday. She also likes to support people in need. There is an add-on on WeChat called “Tencent Charity” which was launched by Tencent, a huge tech company. Every month she donates at least 10,000 yuan and she has already supported 5 students from poor families with their education.

　　• 人/ 动物

　　第二条思考路线—人/动物。基本上，大家看到“Help others”只会想到“帮助人”，但这个“others”也可以指“动物”。为此，我们可以把帮助人和帮助动物结合在一起来丰富帮助的形式。“帮助人”这一块，我们能想到的点还是挺多的;“帮助动物”这一块你可以考虑下帮助流浪的小动物或者濒危的野生动物。至于怎么帮助，我们则可以通过建立收容所或者动物保护网站等形式展开。

　　Example ：

　　I found out that she is a big animal lover and dedicates a lot of her time helping stray dogs and cats. Last year, she set up a foundation which helps street animals. She also volunteers as a tutor and helps her classmates with difficult math challenges. With her help, they have improved a lot.

　　• 线上/线下

　　第三条思考路线—线上/线下。一般而言，我们会考虑的是一种面对面的帮助，比如课后帮我辅导作妖或者帮我拎东西。但是，现在我们总是会不知不觉当中受到别人线上的帮助，比如发布教程或者知乎上帮人回答问题。

　　Example ：

　　He likes to help his friends. For example, I was never very good at writing, so I always had to stay late to write many essays for my course. He was always really helpful and gave me a lot of tips and advice. He guided me through the writing process and helped me think about topics to write about. He also helps many people online.

　　He realized that many students wanted to study at Oxford, however, they had no idea how to prepare, so he made tutorial videos and posted them online. His videos have become very popular and a must for anybody who wants to go to Oxford.

　　• 从“People”的角度进行思考

　　第四条思考路线—从“People”的角度进行思考。在我看来，人的角度可以作为帮助的不同依据。很多人帮助的对象有自己的特殊性。

　　有些人会比较关注健康这一块，因此他们就会更多的去帮助某一类存在健康问题的人群，比如盲人、哑巴、先天性心脏病患者等;

　　有些人会比较关心自己的工作领域，为此他们会愿意去扶持这个领域中需要帮助的人，比如吴亦凡关注潮流领域，他就希望可以更多的帮助那些有理想的设计师;

　　有些人会比较关心教育问题，那么他们会愿意在教育上投入更多的力量，比如建立希望小学、资助平困学生等;

　　有些人会比较专注技能这一方面，因此他们就会愿意去分享并帮助那些在学习过程遇到困难的人，比如免费教PS技巧或者开设免费的摄影课程;

　　有些人会比较关注性取向，为此他们会愿意帮助同性恋的人建立起自信并且在社会中宣扬平等和包容的重要性等。

　　Example ：

　　He likes helping new start-up businesses, especially for fashion design. He has a real passion for fashion and has noticed that many talented designers have given up their dream because of lack of financial support. He decided to set up a charity to support up and coming designers.

　　In the past five years, he has helped over 100 people to make their dream come true. His focus is also in education. He helped to build many primary schools in the western part of China. He noticed that lots of students love playing basketball, however, they didn’t have any coaches. He decided that he would fly in every month and teach them how to play basketball.
