　　雅思口语【喜欢的一家子】第二步可以从Where they live描述!前面我们讲了Which family it is，接下来就可以进行第二步的描述了：

　　Where they live

　　至于他们住在那里，为了能够有更多的拓展细节，我们可以从“主次”或 “时间线”的方向进行思考。有些人可能会居住在不同的地方，一个是常驻的，一个是偶尔小住的;有些人的居住点也会发生位移，可能之前住在某一个地方，但现在又搬到了另一个地方。

　　那么这个居住单位的选择，它既可以是一个“Accommodation”, 也可以是“City & Country”。

　　• Accommodation

　　如果你选择的居住单位是“Accommodation”，你紧接着就可以拓展和住宅相对应的角度，比如：location/ price/ size/ color/ decoration等角度。

　　比如：他们原本住在一个很小的地方，但通过自己的努力赚了钱以后，他们换到了一个大房子里居住。

　　Example ：

　　They used to live in a small apartment which was really cramped 拥挤的 andcluttered 杂乱的. There was no room to swing a cat 空间狭小. But they worked really hard and earned enough money to move out. Now they live in a big house with a big swimming pool.

　　比如：他们原本住在市中心，但因为他们gay的身份经常受到邻居的歧视，于是他们搬去了农村。

　　Example ：

　　They used to live in the city center. However, because their family was not perceived as 不被认为是 a conventional family they were constantly judged and discriminated 歧视 against. So they decided to rent a house in the countryside. Even though the transport isn’t really convenient, they are enjoying a simple life without peoplesticking their noses in their business 多管闲事.

　　• City

　　如果你选择的居住单位是“City”，你紧接着就可以拓展和城市相对应的角度，比如：location/ climate/ weather/ food/ history/ pace of life/ living costs等。

　　比如：他们大部分时间居住在上海，因为他们在这里工作。但每年他们会有2、3个月的时间飞去不同的城市度假。

　　Example ：

　　Most of the time, they live in Shanghai, as their business is based there. But every year, they fly to different cities to have a holiday for 2 to 3 months. Last year, they stayed in Hainan for half a year.

　　They loved the atmosphere and tasty food so much, they have decided to buy a house there which they can move to when they retire.

　　比如：他们曾经居住在北京，但因为无法忍受那边快节奏的生活，所以他们搬去了小城市建了自己的房子。

　　Example two：

　　In the past, they lived in Beijing. However, they couldn’t stand the hustle and bustle, so they moved to my city and settled down. Last year, they build a small house by themselves. Even though there aren’t any up-to-date mod cons, they enjoy their simple life very much.

　　• Country

　　如果你选择的居住单位是“Country”，你紧接着就可以拓展和国家相对应的角度。鉴于城市是缩小的国家，它们的角度是公用的，因此国家的拓展方向和城市一致。同时，你也可以从国家提及他们在那个国家居住的城市或住房。

　　比如：他们曾经住在中国，但去年他们卖掉所有资产搬去英国。现在他们在英国有一个超大的房子，还有自己的花园，他们经常邀请朋友来家里烧烤。

　　Example ：

　　They used to live in China and owned two properties in my city, but last year, they resigned and sold everything to move to the UK. They sent me a picture of their new house. It is very big and has a beautiful garden. They grow lots of vegetables and during the weekends, they invite their friends over to have barbecues together.
