　　I’m going to talk about the city library which has been built quite recently. It’s conveniently located in the downtown area, only a 10-minute walk from where I live. There are many residential areas in the vicinity of the library and many residents enjoy going there when they want to find a quiet place to study and read.

　　Before the library was built, there was a primary school in the area. But then the school was moved to a new site. After about one year of planning and construction, the new library was finally open to the public.

　　The library is well-maintained and well-equipped. The collection of books is quite comprehensive. You can find almost any book you want there. There’s also free wi-fi in case you want to bring your own electronic devices to work or study. Even if you don’t have your own laptop with you, you can use the computers there without any extra charge. And it’s pretty spacious inside with lots of natural lighting.

　　I go there pretty often, almost every week on my regular day off. I’m teacher and the library is the perfect place for me to work on my lessons without any distractions. I feel that the library is an essential part of the city. Not only does provide a great learning atmosphere, but it is also a good source of information and knowledge with its large collection of books and free access to the Internet.
