　　· 当你第一次知道这个地方的时候，你是否对此产生兴趣并做了更多的了解，最终你什么时候去到了这个地方，目前去的频率如何等。

　　Example one: A small village

　　I had known about the village for a long time. however, I hadn't had the chance to visit until last winter holiday. My cousin came to my city and my father arranged a trip there. However, when I arrived, I was shocked by the pollution. Even though we had planned to stay there for 2 nights, we came back one day earlier.

　　Example two: A small lake

　　The first time I visited the lake was when my grandparents moved to the area. After a big dinner, we took a walk there. After that, when I visited my grandparents, we always went there after a meal. However, it was badly polluted a year ago so now we never go.

　　除了按“How you know about …”结构进行答题外，你也可以直接给出去的时间点以及去那边的理由。这种答题方式相对而言是比较常见，也比较好理解的。

　　Example : An island

　　Last year I took a trip to the island again with my friends. We wanted to have a beach holiday to relax and unwind after our final exams. We landed at night around 10 pm, so the next day, we got up at the crack of dawn 天一亮就起床 to go to the beach next to our hotel.
