How many hours do you sleep every day?
Generally, I have 8 to 9 hours sleeping every day if I don’t have much homework or I don't play my smart phone very late. However, sometimes I sleep 2 or 3 hours when I'm under a lot of stress of my study, especially when the exam is coming or the deadline of report is the next day.
一般来说, 如果我没有很多作业或者我不玩手机到很晚, 我每天有8到9个小时的睡眠。然而,当我学习压力很大, 特别是当考试即将来临或递交报告的最后期限是第二天的时候,有时我就睡两三个小时。
Is it necessary to take a nap every day?
Well, it is rather necessary for people who already have a habit of taking a nap, since they need to recover and refresh their body from exhausting work or study stress. It is definitely one of the best ways to help them stay focused and improve their working efficiency. However, for those who are not quite into taking a nap in the middle of the day or in the evening, it is not a must for them.
嗯, 对于那些已经有午睡习惯的人来说, 还是非常必要的, 因为他们需要从劳累的工作或学习压力中恢复自己的体能。这绝对是帮助他们保持专注和提高工作效率的最好方法之一。然而,对于那些不太喜欢在中午或晚上小睡的人来说, 这并不是必须的。

Do old people sleep a lot?
Emm, to be honest, I’m not sure. As far as I know, most of elderly people always get up quite early, probably at 5 or 6 o’clock, and visit the morning market for the fresh fruits and vegetables. Sometimes, they like doing some exercise or walking their dogs in the morning. But they go to bed early around 9 pm. So, I guess they have a regular sleeping time.
呃, 说实话, 我不确定。据我所知, 大多数老年人总是起得很早, 可能在5、6点钟就起了,然后去早市买新鲜的水果和蔬菜。有时他们喜欢在早上做一些运动或遛狗。但是他们大概晚上9点左右就睡了。所以,我想他们的睡眠时间挺规律的。
Do you always have a good sleep?
Well, sleeping is a sensitive word to me coz I've been suffering from the chronic insomnia for quite a long time. And I have tried some popular ways like counting sheep or listening to the light music. However, neither of them worked on me. I really have no idea why falling asleep is so challenging for me.

What time do you usually go to bed?
It seems to me like I don't have a fixed time for getting to bed. As a typical night owl, I don't hit the hay till midnight nearly every weekday, and it’s weird that my mind is often clearer and response quicker at night. So, basically I sit in meditation or try the self-hypnosis that I learned from abook to help myself fall asleep.
对我来说, 我似乎没有一个固定的睡觉时间。作为一个典型的夜猫子, 我几乎每个工作日都要到午夜才睡觉。奇怪的是, 我的思维在晚上往往会更清晰,反应也更快。所以, 基本上我得坐着冥想或者尝试一些从书上学会的自我催眠来帮助自己入睡。
