　　相对于传统节日，大家对现代节日的概念有点模糊。我想你们目前估计能想到的只有“双十一”了吧，这的确是现代节日之一。除此之外，其实还有很多，包括音乐节、美食节、动漫节、艺术节等。只要任何主题带上了一个“festival”，它就是现代节日。

　　接着，两者的差异性体现在哪些角度?

　　相比较现代节日而言，传统节日有更多的仪式和惯例。

　　Modern festivals have a theme such as music or food; traditional festivals don’t have a specific theme.

　　现代节日的主题性非常明确，比如音乐节、美食节;传统节日则没有特别具体的主题性。

　　I think the main difference is that festivals have become more commercial and the traditions and rituals have taken a back seat 处于次要地位. They have become more about having fun and indulging rather than spending quality time with loved ones.

　　Nowadays there are so many different festivals such as a music festival or food festivals and young people just want to go and hang out with their friends.
