　　Last month, it was pouring with rain outside and I was bored so I started flicking through some hairstyle pages online. None of them stood out but then I saw a girl with pink and blue hair.

　　I immediately fell in love with the hairstyle but I didn't feel confident that I could pull it off. I have always had long brown hair and haven't really experimented with different styles or colors.

　　• How you made the decision

　　The next day I spoke to my friend Sally and i showed her the photo. She said that I should get it done as it would look really good and if it didn't, I could dye it back again. It was only hair. Even though I was really nervous I decided to go for it.

　　• Why it was the right decision

　　After many hours in the hairdresser's chair, it was ready. The hairdresser showed me the mirror and I was over the moon. It was far better than I had anticipated.

　　I soon noticed that everywhere I went people looked at my hair and commented on how much they liked it. It boosted my confidence and gave me the motivation to go out and meet new people.

　　I used to spend most of my weekends at home alone but now I go out all the time and I am experiencing many new things. I definitely think taking the plunge with a new color was a good decision.
