　　01. Is childhood meaningful to people? Why?/Why not?

　　Yes. Scientifically, the childhood of people is a fairly essential part of their life. In the first place, certain scientific research shows that the personalities of people are mainly formed in their childhood. There's an immediate causality between a happy childhood and positive personalities like being optimistic and extrovert, vice versa.In addition, many abilities of people are developed in that period of time, fo instance, aesthetic judgment and hands-on ability. Therefore, as some educationalists always stress, primary education in fact is more significant than college education. However, the ironic truth is that parents always pay more attention to college education instead of primary education. It's like putting the cart before the horse.

　　02. Is good parenting important? And what do you think good parenting should be like?

　　Definitely yes and no one can deny the importance of parenting. Before the school age, children spend most of their time with their parents, and they are consequently influenced greatly  by what their parents say and how they behave. At that time, parents are also responsible for teaching children basic knowledge and how to behave themselves. After entering primary school, children will certainly be affected by the eir peers and teachers. Nevertheless, this doesn't mean their parents are losing their importance. Every day after school, children still need to be with their parents. In sum, the significance of parenting is noticeable and irreplaceable. How to be a good and qualified parent is the issue bothering most parents in my country. The discussion over it is endless. What I'd like to say is to be a good parent, he/she should be a good person first.

　　03. Do you think a boarding primary school is suitable for children?

　　Luckily, when I was young, there was no boarding primary school in my city. As I see it, parenting is of prime importance for children. Sending children to a boarding primary school means those children will definitely have limited companionship of their parents. Namely, parents will be abse ent for their childi ren's growth Meeting their children once a week, parents won't know what their children have done recently, with whom they usually hang out and what they have learned in classes. Those parents will feel that they are far away from their children's life. They will be spectators of their children's life instead of participants. Overall, sending children to a boarding primary school is absolutely a bad idea.

　　04. Should parents use physical punishment when their children make mistakes?

　　In my culture, parents used to beat their children quite often. It's definitely thecultural dross. In the past, parents were not well-educated and they knew little about how to educate their children effectively. Teaching their children something was obviously not what they were good at and therefore they used violence to leave their children deep impression of what they said or what they taught. Noticeably, there were many better ways. However, they weren't able to learn those ways, or they were more willing to use the simple, rude and so-called effective way, beating their children. They would never imagine what physical punishment means to their children, or what physical punishment would bring to their children. Of course, physical punishment includes many ways. All of them are as negative as beating children. Perpetrators of physical punishment to children should be punished by laws.
