  雅思口语Part3观点/论证素材:科学对我们的影响!科学技术是雅思口语考试中的高频话题。而在讨论科学、技术对人们生活的影响时,绝大多数小伙伴都自然而然联想到各种新的科学发现、科研成果、革新技术给人类带来的影响(很多小伙伴容易讲的又大又空)。但其实,在雅思口中(Part3),我们也可以去描述一些那种显而易见却总是被人们忽视的“科学”。在细化解释时,大家也更容易举例。 

  比如甜食热量高、糖分多,吃多易发胖,导致糖尿病或者蛀牙。正因如此,绝大多数家长不会让自己的小孩吃太多甜品,或者有些人自己会十分克制,不会将其作为主食。

  人都是“水”做的,如果长时间不喝水,我们会由于脱水而产生各种不适症状,这就是为什么我们每天都喝水。

  同理,我们的身体需要睡眠休息,否则会出现很多问题,这也是“科学”。因此大家每天都会睡觉,不会连续多日熬夜。

  Science is ubiquitous in our life and it affects us in myriad ways. There’re too many cases in point:

  Desserts are calorie-intense and contain too much sugar, so consuming too much sweets is very likely to cause tooth decay, weight gain and diabetes. There’s subtlescience behind, and that’s why almost no one would consume cheese cakes or egg tarts as staple, and none parents would allow their children to eat ice cream or chocolate without restraint.

  It’s widely known that a sound sleep helps our body remain healthy and keep off diseases. Without enough sleep, the following day, we might feel sleepy and dizzy, and we may find it hard to concentrate or think clearly. That’s why most of us would get some sleep every day, and few would burn the midnight oil for days in a row.

  As we all know, it’s the old suggestion to drink eight glasses of water a day. That’s because science has shown that water is essential to our health. Every day we have fluid losses. Without enough intake of water, we get dehydrated, which causes more serious consequences, like extreme thirst, rapid breathing and dizziness. That’s why almost every one drinks regularly.

  这类的例子还有很多,只是大家总是忽略了生活中的各种小细节,比如一年四季不同的着装;做饭时不会放太多盐、糖、醋或辣椒;再比如有的地方冬季气候干燥,皮肤容易起皮(get flaky),很多女孩子就会买一些moisturiser(保湿霜/液)等等,这些都是和“科学”息息相关,影响着我们的生活方方面面。
