　　There was once I forgot to bring my brothers passport with me when we were about to travel abroad. The story starts from I planned to travel to Japan with my brother during vacation. After we receive the visa and book our tickets, we started to pack our luggage. I even made a check list to make sure both of us did not forget to bring anything we needed with block capital “PASSPORT” on top of the list as that is the only thing we must bring. On the day we set off, when I was ticking off the list, I put my passport back into my bag and gave my brother’s passport back on his desk. I thought he must saw me doing so or he would at least take a glance at the table, but unfortunately, he didn’t. Mom then drove us to the airport without noticing any problem.

　　As we were about to check in at the counter, my brother reached his hand into the front pocket of his backpack and found nothing. He stared at me, frozen, and I could tell from his facial expression that something was wrong. In about two seconds, I suddenly realise the situation and thought like “No way. But that’s all on me. I should have return it to his hand.” I was so regret and thought I have ruined the trip but luckily we arrived early enough so mom could fetch us the passport. Finally, we caught the flight at the very last minute.

　　I felt terribly sorry to my brother and learnt to be more careful.
