　　I'd like to talk about a job interview I had last week. A few months ago, I sent my resume to a tutoring company in my hometown to apply for an internship as an English teacher for the coming summer holiday. They invited me to take the online interview last Monday afternoon. Because this was my first job interview, I was very nervous and didn't want to mess it up.

　　The interview involved three parts. In the first part, I need to introduce myself, including my educational background, extracurricular internship experience, honours and skills. In the second part, the interviewer offered me a topic and asked me to plan a lesson for children from 7-9 years old in 20 minutes. In the third part, the interviewer asked me some questions about my career planning and my expectation of this job. I felt nervous at first when I took the second task. Because I need to pretend I was facing several children and pretend to interact with them during me 20 minutes lesson. Normally, I could act to interact with the interviewer, but it was an online interview. It felt like I was not applying a job for teaching but a role for acting. I didn't know how to teach the empty room and the person behind the screen. My brain went blank, and I felt like to lose this job opportunity.

　　In the last minute of preparation time, I found out a brilliant way. I put my dolls, my bottle and my pen around me, and pretend they were my students and interact with them. I felt relaxing when I taught my toys. I had a great teaching time and even forgot I was having an interview.
