　　We all know time is priceless in our life. But there were still occasions that we wasted time, especially during the recent lockdown of COVID-19, when the pandemic hit a lot of cities in China. At the beginning of the lockdown, I was still celebrating Chinese New Year with my family. However, when the holiday reached the end, I got anxious and lost for the online classes. It was a mission impossible for me to focus on online teaching when I was alone at home.

　　It was a Wednesday in March, I was supposed to take online classes and do some further research of my project. Instead of opening my computer, I logged to a video game on my phone. At first, I just wanted to see what gift I’ve been given by the system, and only play one round. However, each time the game ended, I felt there was an

　　invisible power that attracted me to a new round. Since it was a combating game, each round would take at least 20 mins. Until the game system remained me that I already spent 8 hrs. on this game, did I realized how much time I’ve wasted?

　　I shut down the game and started to regret it. I should have finished my paper during the day, not playing endless online games. Life should always be creating something meaningful, which those numbers and levels in the game cannot give me. Later that day, I deleted that app on my phone, and swear never to waste my time like this again.
