　　I always have the ambition of being a lawyer since I was little. One of the reasons is that I want to make my country a better society by upholding justice and helping the disadvantaged group. Besides, I was obsessed with a TV show called “Legal High” during high school, which talked about the process of a college graduate becoming a lawyer. In China, the only way to become a qualified lawyer is passing the National Bar Exam. It is known as the most difficult national test but I have the confidence and determination to pass it. In order to achieve so, I have already started watching online lectures for that exam. It is quite interesting to learn about those surreal crime cases which I could hardly imagine. Besides, I am planning to apply for criminal justice major at University so that I can receive a more systematic teaching about laws.

　　Another important factor of becoming a lawyer is internship in big law firms. Although I have no working experience and limited legal knowledge at the current stage, I believe I can receive offers from various law firms through my hard work in the future. According to what I have heard from my parents’ lawyer friends, field experience would significantly improve one’s capability as it forces you to apply book knowledge to actual real-life cases. It seems to be a long and tough way to achieve my ambition but I’m looking forward to it.
