　　Why do people like to have food in a special occasion?

　　Food is an essential part of any celebration in all countries of the world, regardless of culture or religion. It can unite and strengthen community bonds and helps to maintain a common identity among a group of people. Different countries use food in various ways to help celebrate special occasions like Christmas, New Year, weddings and birthdays.

　　What’s the difference between eating at home and eating out in a special occasion?

　　Eating in the fancy restaurant can offer people a sense of ritual, and most importantly, you don't need to do the dishes. Sometimes eating in a restaurant can make us feel rushed or watched while we eat. We might be conscious of services wanting to turn a table, or we might find the atmosphere to be uncomfortable. Especially on a special occasion, we may throw a party and make some noise with family or friends. It could be impolite for others in a public restaurant. Therefore, eating at home allows you to take your time with your food, and have a pleasant time with your family or friends.

　　What is the associate nation identity that can be seen in a nation’s culinary?

　　Unlike traditional banal symbols of the nation-state, such as flags, coins and anthems, food has the power to attract and can be desired by others, thus enhancing the appeal and prestige of the state. Additionally, national cuisine, because of its symbolic but also vital nature, cannot only bring people together and enhance cultural diplomacy but also promote economic growth and trade while marketing the nation.

　　Do you think traditional customs should be omitted in today’s culinary world?

　　I don't think so. Traditions represent a critical piece of our culture and contribute a sense of comfort and belonging. It brings families together and enables people to reconnect with friends. It would be a good idea to inherit our traditional customs and integrate other cultures to form a more international and diversified new cuisine.

　　Why global leaders like to gather around for a dinner to have nice foods?

　　Dinner provides a chance for global leaders to communicate more easily and freely. The dinner table can act as a unifier, a place of community. Gastrodiplomacy allows states to use their national cuisine as a soft power resource to increase the appeal and desirability of its culture, people, values and ideals.
