　　I am going to tell you one sad story that I was so regretful about what I did afterwards. When I was in primary school, I used to go to school on foot, and one day on my way to school, I found one wounded sparrow, I took it home and decided to keep it until the wound is healed. I found a milk box, dug a hole in it, and put the wounded sparrow in the box.

　　Then in the next week, I took good care of it. I fed fruits and cereal to it and changed its water every day. I even made a mini swimming pool for it. At first, it seemed normal, but when its condition got better and it was the to say goodbye, I hesitated. I thought the milk box was the perfect shelter for it. I mean, it wouldn’t have to struggle to survive every day, and it would never be afraid of the natural enemy, plus there would be sufficient food supply. It would definitely have a great time living here.

　　But things changed. It stopped eating and drinking and kept trying to jump out of the box. I thought it might not be used to its new home, so I didn't care too much. The next morning, when I opened the box to see it, I found the sparrow lying there quietly - it was dead!

　　It was only when I saw its body that I discovered the mistake I had made, how lonely it was that the sparrow couldn't be with its little companion who got along with each other day and night! It would rather die for the sake of freedom, but I was too immature to try to keep it at my house. That little sparrow should live freely in nature. I am very sorry because my wrong love hurt a lovely little creature.
