  【鲜菇杂谈】一个运用想象力的经历,我们经常会用“丰富”来和想象力这三个字搭配,当然“贫乏”也可以,“没有”也可以。如果你没有想象力,那么下面这道题就会让你大脑空白。

  没错,这就是2021年1月雅思口语的最新话题:描述一个你运用想象力的经历。这其实不算是一道真正意义上的新题,历史上考过,只是最近重新被翻出来再考而已。

  不知道大家看到这到题目有何感想,反正我是很兴奋。因为想思路本身就是一个需要想象力的过程。

  其实,只要你读过一本小说,一边读一边在脑中塑造小说人物的形象,那么你就是个有想象力的人。

  如果我问你,今晚的月亮像什么?你说,它像一个孤独又包容的灵魂,温暖这世间孤独又心灰意冷的人类,你就是个有想象力的人。

  如果你听到一首曲子会安静、会流泪、会欢呼雀跃、会勃然大怒,那么你就是个感性又有想象力的人。

  这些都是我们经历过的最最日常不过的场景了。所以,这个世上就不存在没有想象力的人,只存在不愿去打开自己、去感受这世间的人。

  下面是我为大家写的一个文字素材,描述的是我曾经在一个幼儿园实习期间给小孩子讲故事的经历,希望大家喜欢。

  I used my imagination when I was doing an internship in a kindergarten manyyears ago. On an uneventful day, I was taking a lunch break when I saw a three years old boy wandering in the reading zone. I picked upa book and started to read. At the same time, I asked him whether he was interested in joining me to read the book together. He nodded and sat down beside me. It was a very simple book with very few words and loads of pictures. It’s definitely the time when I needed to use my imagination to describe what was in the book because many pictures were quite abstract.

  很多年前我在一个幼儿园实习的时候发挥到了我的想象力。一个平静的日子里,我在午休的时候看到一个三岁男孩儿在阅读区闲逛。于是,我拿来一本书开始读,并且问他是否愿意加入我跟我一起看书。他点了点头,来到我身边坐下了。那是一本文字不多但图片很多的绘本,我必须要发挥想象力才能描述书中都画了些什么,因为很多画面真的很抽象。

  Instead of tellingstories to him, I encouraged that little boy to say the things he saw from the book. Out of my expectation, he described vividly and he found many details I didn’t see, which was amazing! He got better imagination than I did. I totally enjoyed this book-reading time with this little boy. I noticed that he got really eager and excited to tell me what he thought about the pictures in the book.

  我没有一直在讲,而是鼓励他把他看到的东西描述出来。没想到他描述得那么生动,而且发现了好多我没发现的细节,真是太棒了!他比我的想象力要丰富。我很享受这个和三岁宝宝阅读的时光。我注意到他变得很积极也很激动,急切地想要告诉我他眼中的那些图片都画了些什么。

  We exchanged our different opinions and it was interesting to interact with a three-year-old kid. Soon, we finished reading that book and picked up a new one. His interest in reading was aroused and I was extremely happy about it. He was a very quiet boy who seldom communicated withother children and teachers. During that lunch break, however, he seemed to be willing to open his mind and to use his fantastic imagination to express himself. It was a huge progress for him and it had a great influence on me.

  我们交换了彼此的看法,和三岁孩子交流真的很有趣,很快,我们读完了这本书,然后去拿了一本新的来读。他的阅读兴趣被激发起来了,我很开心。他平时很安静,很少和其他孩子和老师交流。但是那天午休时间,他似乎很愿意打开自己,用丰富的想象力来表达自己。对他来说那是一个巨大的进步,对我也意义非凡。

  I realized how important it is to observe and to communicate with a shy kid by showing them patience and inspiration. Anyways, it was one of my best moment in that kindergarten and I have made up my mind to be a teacher for kids since then.

  我意识到观察和交流的重要性,用耐心去激发很必要。那天在幼儿园的美好经历使我下定了决心去做一名幼儿教师。
