　　Describe a time when you got bored when you were with others. You should say:

　　-When it was

　　-What you did

　　-Who you were with

　　-And explain why you got bored

　　以下内容可能不具有普适性，但关于“无聊”、“过去的事”的表达是可以充分学习的。

　　There was this one unforgettable experience of mine that I was bored to death andgot so annoyed of the situation I was in. That was four years ago, back when I was still a high school student.

　　译文：我有一次无聊到死的难忘经历，真是烦死了。那是4年前我上高中的时候。

　　We had an excursion to a local historical and science museum in our town. In that museum, we could see some artifacts, skeletons of some animals, well-preserved birds and reptiles among others. Honestly, I visited that museum for innumerable times ever since I was a primary schooler so I already knew what was inside of that museum. I could even memorize each display. What’s worse was our house is just a few blocks from that museum, so it’s  part of my everyday life to pass and see that museum. There was nothing new to me – you could imagine how terribly bored I was on that field trip visiting a place that I could always see every single day of my life.

　　译文：我们短途旅行去了当地的一个历史和科学博物馆。那里有一些工艺品、动物骨骼、鸟类和爬行动物的标本。说实话，我从上小学开始去过那里N多次了，对那里非常了解。我能记得每个展品。更糟的是我家离那个博物馆很近，我每天都经过那里还经常去玩。它对我来说没啥新鲜的，所以你肯定懂去一个每天都能去的地方对我来说有多无聊。

　　Well, that happened before we had our summer break. If my memory serves me right,our teacher wanted to spend time with us through a short trip before we could wrap upthe school year. She created a poll of which place we could visit. She gave us two choices – a museum or botanical garden. Majority of my classmates chose a museum which happened to be my choice too. However, we didn’t know which museum we would visit because our teacher did not tell us in the first place.

　　译文：那是在放暑假之前。我记的没错的话，我们老师想在开学前跟我们一起短途旅行一下。她做了个小调查，问我们想去哪。然后给了我们两个选择，博物馆或植物园。多数同学都选了博物馆，我也是。但是我们不知道会去哪个博物馆因为老师一开始并没有说。

　　To cut a long story short, on the day of our field trip, I was taken aback when our teacher took us to the museum in our town. I got so upset and some of my classmates felt the same way as I did because we thought we could visit a museum that we had never visited before. If we had known, we wouldn’t have joined that excursion. Actually, that was a dead boring experience that me and my classmates would never want to talk about every time we have a reunion.

　　译文：长话短说，那天到博物馆的时候我震惊了。我很失望，很多同学也是，因为我们以为会去一个没去过的博物馆。我们要是早知道，就不参加这个活动了。这事超级无聊，我和我同学每次聚会都不想提。
