　　Do you make a list when you go shopping?

　　I always do because I don't want to overspend, as you may know, it's so easy to make an impulsive shopping decision when you're in a fancy department store surrounded by all the exquisite lovely fashion items, they're all temptations.

　　Do you make a to-do list at work?

　　I've been making a to-do list every day ever since I started working. There are so many tasks for me to deal with, I have to prioritize those urgent and important ones and put them on the top of my lists so that I won't waste too much time on the trivial ones.

　　trivial - 琐碎的，不重要的 adj.

　　Why don't some people like making lists?

　　I don't know, to be honest, because I'm not that kind of person. I suppose that they probably prefer to play it by ear, some of them might enjoy making decisions based on a whim. Or perhaps they think that even if they made a schedule, they would never follow it, so it's just a waste of time.
