  例句

I can’t say that Chinese people like bargaining because there aren’t many places for us to bargain nowadays. But when we are buying second-hand stuff online, bargaining is still commonplace.

  Be discreet

  Be diplomatic

Give them an incentive to bargain with you给店家一个和你讲价的理由

I believe bargaining is a good way to save money, and if you walk into a store where you can negotiate the price with the seller, then you should master some bargaining skills. First, be discreet. Don't start bargaining with a salesperson in front of a large group of other shoppers. If they hear you're getting a deal, they'll want one too. A salesperson will be less likely to negotiate with you if they know they're going to have to give that same deal to 10 other shoppers. Second, be diplomatic. Sellers are humans too who will respond much better to a offer coming from a friendly, low-key customer than a demanding, stern customer. Show them you're willing to work with them. Third, give them an incentive to bargain with you. If you're buying a car at a dealership, tell them you're planning on bringing your car back to them for repairs. Merchants will be more likely to offer you a better price if they have a reason to.

  1)      Where can you bargain? Why?

The commodities in stores with no clear price tag can have a bargain, which means that the commodities’ price is not fixed, and it has room to discuss with the shopkeepers. In stores with clear price tag, it is generally a fixed price and no bargaining is allowed, especially in big shopping malls where most stores are chain brands with unified pricing.

  2)      How do you bargain?

Generally, I will try to lower the price by finding out the shortcomings of the product or I'll tell the shopkeepers that next time I can bring my friends to buy more goods and become a regular visitor.

  3)      Do Chinese people like bargain?

Yes, I think Chinese people will bargain sometimes, but not only Chinese people will bargain. In my opinion, most people in the world will try to bargain when they think there is room for bargaining, because everyone wants to buy the right goods at the most affordable price.

  4)      What do you think of bargaining?

From my perspective, bargaining does not mean that someone likes to take advantage of others. On the contrary, bargaining shows that the consumer has a clear understanding of the product, but also has a strong rational thinking. Bargaining is the normal reaction of people when facing unreasonable prices, and it is not a behavior that should be ridiculed.
