　　# What kinds of promises do people often make?

　　People make all kinds of promises every day in their life. adults often promise to do better at their work to their bosses. Students make promises to study harder and behave themselves to their parents. If you need to borrow things from your friends , you also have to make promises that you will return them.

　　# Do parents in China make promise to their children?

　　Yes. The most frequent promises most Chinese parents make is to buy things their children want in return of a satisfactory school exams results.

　　# Do children keep their promises?

　　I cannot say for sure. It depends what promises we are talking about and what kind of person children are. Some kids tend to forget their promises and keep on failing their parents.

　　# Why do some people fail to keep their promises?

　　There are like 20 or even more different situations. For example, some people break their promises simply because they didn’t mean it in the first place. Others fail to keep them due to the fact that the time and conditions of that promises have changed dramatically, there is no possible way to keep them.
