　　A time I needed to use my imagination happened when my cousin got married. My dear cousin got married two years ago and the relationship between her husband and her underwent a lot of hardships. So I was extremely excited to see that she finally found true love and I decided to send a special gift, a piece of hand-made dress, to celebrate this meaningful moment.

　　I didn’t major in fashion design and theoretically it could be hard for me to work it out since making a unique dress did require lots of imagination from designing to making. When it comes to how difficult or easy it was, I spent almost a week thinking about the idea, fabric and measurement, which could prove how challenging it was. But I was unsatisfied with my thoughts so it ended up with nothing. After that, I had plenty of communications with my cousin and I finally knew what I could do. I crafted the dress with the help of my cousin. I measured my model, following a professional dressmaker’s measurement guide. Through a month’s great efforts, I managed to finish the sewing process and added zipper to the dress, which should be the last steps. As for how I felt about it, to be honest, it was really challenging and I considered giving up several times but I made it. I just wanted to do something special to celebrate this wonderful moment since my cousin and I grew up together and we were the best friends for each other.

　　All my efforts are worthy and I have learnt how to give full play to my imagination and creativity. I think it is the best dress in the world because it is designed and made all by myself.
