　　1.Do you like to wear special costumes?

　　Yes, I do but of course not on ordinary days. It would be silly if I wore a special costume without any occasion or event. I usually wear a costume during the Halloween season because I attend some Halloween parties. It’s the best time to showcase my creativity by wearing a costume.

　　是的，我喜欢，但是当然不是在平常的日子。如果没有任何场合或事件就穿特殊的服装，那是愚蠢的。我通常在万圣节期间参加聚会的时候穿特别的衣服。这是展示我的创造力的最佳时机。

　　Not at all. I find it bothersome and that’s the reason why I always miss attending Halloween parties or any parties or events that require people to wear some sort of costumes. I dunno, I just don’t like the idea of wearing special costumes.

　　一点也不。我觉得没劲，这也是我不参加万圣节聚会或任何要求参加者穿某种服装的聚会或活动的原因。我不知道，我只是不喜欢穿特殊服装。

　　2.Did you try any special costumes when you were young?

　　Definitely, especially in schools. In this country, all schools celebrate United Nations month every October, and students are required to wear a special costume of a country that represents the country’s culture or identity. So, when I was a student, I wore several costumes of countries like Japan, China, and some Western countries. That was incredibly fun!

　　当然，尤其是在学校里。我国所有学校都在每年的10月庆祝联合国月，并且要求学生穿着代表某国文化或特征的特殊服装。所以，当我是学生的时候，我穿过几种不同国家的服装，比如日本，中国和一些西方国家的服饰。那真是太有趣了！

　　Yes, when I was a kid I was fond of wearing some special costumes like those costumes from Disney characters and Marvel superheroes. As you know, children love those stuff, I admit I did enjoy wearing some of those costumes back in the day. However, when I became a teenager, I started to lose interest in any kind of special costume because like I said, wearing one is just a pain in the neck.

　　是的，我小时候喜欢穿特别的服装，例如迪士尼角色和漫威超级英雄的服装。如您所知，孩子们喜欢这些东西，我承认我那时确实很喜欢穿那些服装。但是，当我十几岁的时候，我对任何特殊服装都失去了兴趣，觉得没啥意思。

　　3.When was the last time you wore special costumes?

　　Let me recall, oh well, that was before the pandemic. I attended a Hawaiian-themed birthday party of my closest friend. I wore a polo with huge floral prints, khaki shorts,and a garland around my neck. I was glad that I really attended that party because after that, the news about the pandemic broke. That was the last social gathering I was able to attend without any worries.

　　That was a long time ago when I celebrated my 10th birthday. I put ona Spiderman costume because at that time I was crazy about Spiderman like I imagined myself being a superhero after being heavily influenced by reading Marvel comics. Remembering those days now makes me miss my childhood.

　　那是很久以前了，我庆祝十岁生日的时候。我穿上蜘蛛侠服装，因为那时我为蜘蛛侠着迷，我看了漫威漫画受到强烈影响x想象自己成为超级英雄。现在想起那些日子让我想念我的童年。

　　4.Do you ever buy special costumes?

　　Rarely, I usually create my own costume if I attend a Halloween party or any other events because I want to express my own creativity. However, if I’m under a time constraint, I’m left with no choice but to buy a special costume.

　　很少。我通常自己做，如果参加万圣节聚会或任何其他活动，因为我想表达自己的创造力。但是，如果受时间限制，我别无选择，只能买。

　　It’s been more than ten years now since the last time I wore a special costume, so I can say that never in my life have I bought a costume. Although I wore some special costumes when I was little, it was my parents’ money that was spent on those costumes. I’ve never had any experience spending my own money on costumes.

　　自我上次穿着特殊服装以来已经有十多年了，所以可以说我从未买过。尽管我小的时候会穿一些特殊的服装，但那是我父母买的。我从没自己花钱买过。
