　　Describe an activity that you do after school/work.

　　I’d like to swim after work since it’s an effective way for me to relax.

　　I learnt how to swim in the last summer vacation of high school. After the college entrace examination, I was allowed to spend my time freely, so I decided to learn to swim. It took me a month to finish training and I was so thrilled on the day I was able to swim in the profound zone, which meant that I had mastered this skill.

　　Since then, I would go to the natatorium whenever I was free. The membership was cheap at college so I went there at least 3 times a week. I also joined the swimming club where I met some friends with common interests. When the weather was good, we also went swimming and snorkeling in the sea together, it was really pleasant to see those fishes in the water.

　　Currently, I still go swimming frequently. But I have to swim alone since I haven’t found any companions at work. And my old friends are living in different parts of this large city, it’s not easy for us to meet as often as before.

　　Anyway, swimming is my favorite leisure activiy. Once I jump into the water, I would forget any worries and feel relieved. It seems that all pressure is gone with regular breathing and moving forward. Thought the member fee is expensive now, I am still a frequent guest of the gym since swimming is also helpful in keeping fit.
