　　1.Why do some people enjoy extreme sports?

　　I think people are keen on extreme sports for two reasons. Perhaps the fundamental reason is that they pefer an exciting lifestyle. For those office workers who ususally sit infront of a screen for a whole day, it would be extremely stimulating to participate in activities like bungee jumping or skydiving, which is a great way to relieve bordem, anxiety and tension that come from daily life. Another reason is that people would like to overcome fear and build confidence through playing extreme sports. For example, after finishing a life-threatening task like bungee jumping, peole are likely to be brave enough to speak in front of a crowd. So I believe that extreme sports lovers enjoy what they do because they can gain what they want from it.

　　2.Are men more likely to do extreme sports than women?

　　It seems so, possibly becasue men are generally more brave and risky than women, so whether it is rock climbing, bungee jumping, skydiving or parkour, you can find most players are male. This is particularly true in China, where parents have different expectations of their sons and daughters. It is more likely for Chinese parents to encourage their boys to participate in such sports, hoping to develop strong bodies and wills. But when it comes to girls, mom and dad would prefer to send theme to learn skills like painting or playing instruments, which are not dangerous. However, things are changing. I can see more girls and ladies trying extreme sports like freediving, skateboarding and skiing these days.

　　3.What are the most popular outdoor activities in China?

　　I think running, hiking, and swimming are the most popular outdoor activities in China, since they are not challeging for most people. Running is particularly trendy among working people who have limited time to exercise. Compared with going to the gym, running in the park or on the roads is more convenient. Running is also considered as an effective way to lose weight and keep fit. Another populuar outdoor activity in my country is hiking. It is also easy and enjoyable. Many families would like to hike in national parks that are usually located in mountains, breathing fresh air and feeling refreshed. Apart from that, swimming is definitely the most popular outdoor activity in summer. People can enjoy cool and fun when swimming in rivers or the sea.

　　4. What do young people usually do in groups?

　　Young people can do many differnt things when they are together. The first one I can think of is sports. There are various sports clubs at schools and colleges, where young people can play group sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, volleyball, etc. Secondly, it is common for girls to go shopping together in leisure time. In addition, many young people would play games in groups online or in real life. The new kid on the block which is named Script Murder, has gained popularity among teenagers and young working adults because of the mind-twisting plots and the engaging process of reasoning.
