　　1. Are there laws about education in China?

　　Yes, there are several laws about education in China. For example, the Compulsory Education Law requires schools and teachers to be responsible for sloving and reporting the problem of dropouts. they will receive administration sanctions if they fail to fulfill this responsibility. Similarly, those parents or guardians who disobey the law and don't send school age children to attend school will be punished. Another important law about education is the Teachers Law, in which there are regulations on teachers ' rights and obligations, qualifications and recruiment, training and evaluations, etc. These laws not only regulate the operations of schools and the behavior of teachers, but also protect the interests of teachers and adolescents, playing an important role in our society.

　　2. What kinds of rules do schools in China have?

　　There are various rules in schools in China. The most common one would be the ban on using smartphones in classes. You can find such rules in primary school, high school, vocational school, as well as colleges. I think this is necessary and reasonable since cellphones are really distractive. Other school rules include wearing uniform, attending classes on time, showing respect to the teacher, being friendly to classmates, no cheating in exams, just to name a few. I guess the rules in schools in China are basically the same as those in other countries.

　　Teachers can encourage students to follow rules in different ways. They can explain to their students that rules are essesntial for keeping people safe and happy. If we break rules, for example, the traffic rules, we might cause accidents that hurt ourselves and others. But when everyone follows rules and treats each other with kindness and respect, we will be safe and less likely to get hurt. The most effective method would be to set a good example. If the teacher wants students to be on time, he or she should never be late for classes. A model is powerfully effective for motivating the behaviors you want. When students witness teachers following rules and laws, they will understand the importance of obedience.

　　4. What should parents do to educate children about laws?

　　Well, I suppose parents can teach their children about laws in two ways. Firstly, fathers and mothers could bring their kids to attend some lectures or exhibitions about laws, where there will be experts who can explain law issues in ways that are eaiser for adolescents to understand. Secondly, parents can explain laws and regulations while watching TV programs. Whether it is news about crimes or TV series with criminal plots, parents could make advantage of this opportunity to discuss with children and help them to form correct conceptions. Of course, parents should be carefull when choosing programs and avoide those with too much violent content.
