This scholarship is guaranteed as long as you accept your offer of admission to the Faculty of Arts & Humanities by the response deadline on your offer of admission, meet all of your admissions conditions and remain registered as a student in the Faculty as of November 1, with at least 2.0 courses offered by the Faculty of Arts & Humanities (Main Campus). Students must apply directly from secondary school.

Faculty of Arts and Humanities Entrance Scholarship of Excellence

If your admission average is 95% or higher as of July 7, 2023, we will award you with the President's Gold Scholarship, which is a renewable entrance scholarship worth $4,000 for your first year at Laurier.

Laurier Scholars Award

Wilfrid Laurier University – Brantford Campus

Laurier Scholars must have an admission average of 90% to apply for the Laurier Scholars Award.

Students are selected for the Laurier Scholars Award based on their academic achievement and a separate application, which includes:

• a personal statement,
  

• list of your activities and/or accomplishments, and
  

• a letter of recommendation.

  Laurier Scholars are required to maintain the 90% final average as of July 7, 2023, and must meet all conditions to receive and renew their scholarship on an annual basis over a four-year period.
